Call for Paper

The International Conference on Information Systems and Technology (ICIST 2016) will take place in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia from the 28th until 30th November 2016. The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers, academicians, and practitioners who are interested in the advances and applications of information systems and technology. It aims to address the issues related to design, development and use of information systems in organisations from a socio-technological perspective, as well as to discuss information systems practices, researches and teaching.

Submitted papers will be subjected to stringent peer review by at least three experts. These papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. All accepted papers will be published in SCOPUS/ISI indexed ADVANCED SCIENCE LETTERS (ASL) journal publication by American Scientific Publishers.

  • Author Guidelines


    Authors must strictly adhere to the paper layout guidelines (explained below). Manuscripts that do not conform to those formatting guidelines (PDF format, 5-page limit, margins, font size, embedded fonts etc.) will be removed from further consideration without review. Please use the following guidelines for submitting your full paper:

    Each paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under responsibility of the authors). Each paper will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field ensuring the publication of only top quality contributions.


    All manuscripts will be submitted to Turnitin for plagiarism checking. Manuscript will be rejected without review if the manuscript contains plagiarism issue. (Turnitin similarity index not more than 25%).
